Joining Us
St James’ Church is an Anglican Church located at Leedon Road, Holland Village area in the beautiful city of Singapore. As we are in the midst of a rebuilding project, our Services and office are temporarily relocated. The new building is scheduled to be completed by mid 2011.
Our English Services are held at St James’ Church Kindergarten, 29A Harding Road in the Dempsey area. View the map to Harding Rd.
Service Times: We have three English Services at 7.30 am, 9.00 am and 11.15 am. We do not have children activities during the services as our full children ministry, Super Powerkids is held at 2.30 pm. Your children are welcome to sit in the Services. We do run a ‘3 to 7 Ministry’ concurrently during our 9.00 am and 11.15 am services for children during the sermon time. If you require more information about this program, do contact Pastor Henry Yeo (Tel: 91857568). You may want to get here 15 minutes early on your first visit to get yourself oriented.
Youths and students are encouraged to join the main Services. We also run a dynamic youth JYM programme every Sunday at 2.30 pm. More JYM info here.
Refreshments and food: We serve breakfast after the 7.30 and 9.00 am Services. Packet lunch can also be bought after the 11.15 am Service. We invite you to join in.
Our Bilingual Service (English & Mandarin, 6.00pm Saturday) and Chinese Service (5.00 pm Sunday) meets at Queenstown Lutheran Church, #709 Commonwealth Drive.

Getting to Harding Road by Public Transport
1. The bus services that ply along Holland Road are 7, 75, 77, 105, 106, 123 and 174.
2. Once you have alighted at the bus stop, make your way towards the overhead bridge.
3. There you will find a footpath that leads up a slope towards Au Petit Salut and Harding Road. 4. Once on Harding Road, turn to your right and walk for about 150m till you reach St James’ Church Kindergarten.
Sunday
7.30 am Service
7.30 am - 8.45 am. Holy Communion is served every Sunday in this liturgical Anglican Service.
The service is held at the Music Studio. Just be there and the ushers will guide you.
With an inspiring forest view, this Service is a unique experience. Breakfast is served after the Service.

9.00 am Service
This is a lively worship Service with Holy Communion on 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. Informal and liturgical worship styles are integrated together.
The Service is held in the main Kindergarten Hall.

11.15 am Service
11.15 - 12.45 am. Holy Communion is served during the first Sunday of the month. The worship is informal and contemporary, with more youths and young families participating.
The Service is held at the Kindergarten Hall.
Lunch can be bought after the Service or you could visit nearby Dempsey eateries. It is not unusual for families to attend this Service, have lunch together and then proceed to the Super Powerkids Service at 2.30 pm.
