Vicar Writes 16th/ 17th April

“Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.” Jeremiah 6:16
It is Holy Week. And with it, such a wonderful opportunity to pull away for our normal busy activities and seek the face of or Lord.
There is the 24/7 to experience. If you have not spent an hour, I encourage you to do it.

The Holy Week services are each unique, from the joyful celebration of Palm Sunday, the closing darkness of the Tenebrae service (Maundy Thursday), the rich tapestry of chorale-led Good Friday Service with insightful meditations, to the dawning of the Easter Sunrise Service and culminating in the Parish Service and Lunch Celebration, it will be a very enriching week. I advise you to participate in as many of them as possible for a more complete experience as you journey with the Lord.

I include here some of the photos taken at our Building site for your awareness and prayers as the project continues.
