An Alpha letter
Dear Friends,
Our Alpha run starts this week with Intro events. And we are excited by how the Lord brings together so many different elements for His purpose and glory.
At a recent sharing on Alpha for Youth with the Anglican youth in the SERVE programme, there was a reminder of what Alpha is all about;
A – Acceptance; learning to love and interact with all our guests, recognizing they are precious in God’s sight.
L – Learner’s Attitude as each run and individual involved is unique and we are always learning.
P – Personal commitment by all who are involved to give our focus and Attention to our guests.
H – Having a posture of adoration and worship; we want to worship the Lord in ALL that we do.
A – Affirming that God so loved the world that He gave us His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life; a tremendous privilege of sharing the Good News.
As always, we need to cover our Alpha runs with prayer. Prayer is key and we were reminded recently that to do kingdom work, we need spiritual weapons to be His army, His athletes, His agriculturalists anytime anywhere. Please will you join us in prayer for the respective locations?

2) THURS night @Lorong Kismis, hosted by Tan Boon Yeow and Low Yee, led by Lucilla Teoh and Tan Siew Wan
3) SUNDAY afternoon @One Tree Hill, hosted by Emerson Foo & Lay Sie, led by Lee Kean Guan and Anita
GUESTS: For God to remove all barriers so that they can come to attend the Course, open hearts and a hunger to seek the truth, God’s truth.
HOSTS, LEADERS & HELPERS: For protection and blessing for each household, strength to lead and serve especially after a long day at work or week, patience and understanding, compassion and love for the guests. For God’s wisdom as they lead, answer and share.
In all things we want to serve with His presence, in His name and for His glory.
