Being a Community who is attractive both to God and Seekers

posted 20.11.2012

We were challenged and encouraged by the series of two messages from Joseph Chean at the Sunday morning services on 1th & 18th Nov.

It is a two part-series on "Being a Community who is attractive both to God and Seekers."

In his first message on "A Community who carries His presence", he shared on the need to be a church which yearns for the Lord's presence. Will we be willing to wait upon God? How can "we move into 2013 strong?" The key is to be aware of His presence and guidance. Is there room in our 2013 calendar for the church to wait upon God? Will we be willing to be a church who loves God and not just engaged in activities and events? Do we desire for God more than His blessings?

In the second, he shared on "A Community who embraces brokenness and mercy." Will we be willing to care for the poor and needy? He shared on some inspiring projects which YWAM Singapore has been engaging  in. What will God's house be like if we really welcome all and sundry to come to the Kingdom?
