Sep 05, 2010 - Real Discipleship - Luke 14:25-33 - Archbishop John Chew
(trans. by Revd Huang Aoyou) Jesus challenges the large crowds that are following him to not just 'accompany'
him but to be seriously engaged with him as his disciples. With his hard saying
about being disciples who would "hate his father and mother, his wife and children,
his brothers and sisters - yes, even his own life," Jesus is pushing them (and us)
to the highest level of relational engagement with him. How long and how far are you
prepared to go with him?
