Our 5-year Vision (2009-2014)
To this end, our 5-year Vision will involve:
1. Discipleship: Developing a systematic way and culture of intentional discipling of our new believers, members, families and potential leaders. We aim to have 80% of the church in Cells or other forms of ministry or discipleship small groups.
2. Evangelism: Intentional evangelism through our Services, the Alpha Course and other creative ways to reach the ‘unchurched’ in both the marketplace, heartland areas and our nearby HV community. We aim to grow our weekend Services to 600 by 2010 and 1000 by 2012.
3. Community Outreach: Growing our community outreach through our HOPE ministry, HEAL ministry, Kindergarten etc. We aim to establish an on-going presence and ministry in HV area, cooperating with the grassroot organbizations.
4. Fellowship and Care: To strengthen our sense of community together and pastoral care for those in need. Emphasis will be given to building of relationships and people-centered ministry.
5. Missions: Growing in our commitment to and involvement in cross-cultural Missions as a church.
6. Prayer and Worship: Growing in prayer and worship through creative ways of involving and engaging the whole church.
All six areas are also the focus of our Diocesan Parish life Review. The review papers and other processes will also assist us in the vision development process.
